Small gaps.
A more comfortable home.
Targeted sealing for suitable cracks and gaps, using individual DIY-type foam cans purchased by the case.
Focus on the gaps.
Our approach uses portable cans for targeted air sealing. The foam product and application are selected for the particular opening.
Why we are doing this
We want tenants to keep more of the comfort they are paying for. Addressing unwanted air leaks is intended to reduce drafts and support the work of the heating and cooling system. This service can follow a thermal exploration visit, with repair work quoted separately.
How the service works
A provider checks the accessible cracks and gaps, confirms where canned foam is suitable, and prepares a quote for the agreed work. The selected product is applied according to its instructions, and the completed areas are checked.
Choose the product for the opening
The product, gap size, nearby materials, ventilation, and curing requirements must be considered before application. Required vents and drainage paths remain open. Applications near heat sources or requiring a fire-rated seal need the appropriate approved materials.
Works with the other services
Thermal Exploration can help identify areas that deserve a closer look. Targeted air sealing then addresses suitable confirmed gaps, alongside window improvements and room cooling. A thermal visit itself does not include repairs.
